The Unit for eBusiness at the Digital Enterprise Research Institute (DERI: http://www.deri.ie/) of the National University of Ireland, Galway invites applications for 3/6 months internship positions.
The DERI Unit for eBusiness focuses on the investigation of Semantic Web/Linked Data approaches within organizations in the key areas of semantic query/search models over Linked Data, entity reconciliation, data quality, data visualization and interaction, complex event processing, provenance and standards-based financial and sustainability reporting . Research is performed in collaboration with other DERI units and industrial partners.
Requirements:
(Mandatory)

The candidate should be registered Master’s or PhD student in computer science, applied mathematics, or similar. Outstanding undergraduate candidates will also be considered.

Experience with implementation work preferably in Java, Python or C++.

Personal initiative, creativity and ability to effectively work in a team.

Web applications development.

Basic knowledge of Semantic Web technologies.
